Depending
upon the subject and field of the programme, a required amount of
practical training is imparted in the Distance Education Study Center (DESC).

Structure
Study
material is developed and designed by a team of noted academicians and
experts in the field associated with Engineering colleges, Universities
and the industry. The curriculum so designed is scrutinized by contact
experts and supervised by instructors.
Credit
System
The
"Credit " system is followed and every paper is allotted certain
credits. Number of credits allotted to each paper reflects its importance
in the core field of study. Single credit amounts to 10 hours of study.
Support
Services
Distance Education Study Center (DESC) will provide the students a
platform to interact with counselors, other students and also to use the
library. Students would be getting personal attention and support at these
centres including hands-on training in real life processes and procedures:
* Courseware for both theory and practical is given to the students
of each programme.
* Counseling sessions will be held at Distance
Education Study Center (DESC) at a time
suitable to the students.
* Practical sessions will also be held at
the Distance Education Study Center (DESC).
* Assignments for evaluation and feedback.
Evaluation
(a) Continuous
Evaluation
The student's performance is routinely assessed by continuous evaluation.
30% of total marks are allotted to continuous evaluation done through
assignments and practicals.
(b) Term &
Examination
Both
theory and practical examinations are conducted at the end of the semester
by AAI-DU. This term & examination amounts to 70% of the total marks.
Grade
System
After the evaluation of the
student's overall performance, grades are given on the basis of total
percentage score. Student's performance is evaluated through the following
grades:
